1. Make a mini gallery wall (you don’t have to spend a lot of $$$ to make this beautiful)
This is actually something I’m working on for my bathroom! I want to have a mini gallery wall above the toilet. Glamorous, I know. In order to make a gallery wall work in a tight space, I’m going to use one of my favorite gallery wall templates (which you can get as a free printable!).
In order to customize the template to the needs of my space, I’ll probably flip it on its side so that it climbs up the wall instead of across. I don’t have a lot of horizontal space in my bathroom, but I do have vertical space! Also, I’ll definitely be sizing down the frames so that they all fit. But I know the templates will help sooo much in picking out what layout to do. That’s where I always get stuck.
I’m super excited to use digital art from the Garland Collections shop for this mini gallery wall. It’s all original, hand drawn artwork by me, yours truly. Click here to browse the shop! I’ll be releasing the new prints that I’m going to use in my bathroom soon, so stay tuned ๐ you can even join the email list here so that you receive updates like that.

This mushroom patch print is one of the most popular prints in the shop. If you’ve been loving earth tones lately, this is perfect for you! I love that it keeps a pretty muted color palette while still bringing in a lot of color at the same time.
Tip: Use digital art printables so that there’s less pressure on picking the perfect wall art. It’s so affordable and easy to switch up!
Digital art prints are super convenient because you can literally print them out at home, frame them, and hang them up! The mushroom print fits in an 8×10 frame or matte.
2. If you don’t have the space for a gallery wall, hang up wall art that brings color and life to your bathroom
When you’re working with a small space, sometimes even modifying a gallery wall template to make a mini gallery wall simply isn’t going to cut it. There isn’t always enough wall space for that.
If you’re working with not a lot of space, create a focal point in the room with wall art that brings out your favorite colors in the room. And if you don’t have all of the tile colors and the bath mats and the sinks perfectly in sync, use the art in your bathroom as an opportunity to bring the colors that you would ideally want into the space.
Tip: the easiest way to transform a bathroom is by making wall art with colors that you love the focal point of the room.
Don’t be afraid to go BRIGHT and BOLD! Of course, you should do what you like. I just have to encourage you because in my experience, I’ve gotten so nervous when I make some of my most bold color decisions, and they almost always turn into my favorite part of my home. Funny how that works out.
3. Add a cute mirror for added light and the feeling of more space

You could go for a classic look with this circular mirror and the gold chain that it’s hanging from (it’s giving me Bridgerton vibes in the best way). Also, this kind of mirror is A++ for renters or lazy folks (like me) who want a simple solution that’s super easy to hang up and take down.

And you can also get really playful with your mirror choices! This funky shaped mirror is a perfect way to add a little spice into your bathroom. I love getting small things like this to experiment with different design styles in a way that feels approachable.
Also, if you’re looking for some MAJOR MIRROR INSPO, check out @badglassshop on Instagram. She has such cool designs. And here are some of my favesss from Urban Outfitters Home:
- Thalia Vanity Mirror (girly boho โ first for a REASON)
- Snake Mirror (normally I hate snakes but this is cute)
- Mabelle Rattan Mirror (this so fancy looking and PRETTY)
- Flower Tabletop Mirror (funky fresh cool hehe)
- Selene Wall Mirror (top rated for a reason, so gorgeous)
- Leo Mirror Shelf (beautiful design and very unique)
Tip: Mirrors reflect light and make your space feel bigger. Finding a small, uniqur mirror goes a long way.
Don’t forget that you can also hang up multiple wall mirrors together to create a โจmomentโจ
4. Bring in a unique shelf into your bathroom

I love this rattan arc shelf. It’s so cute ๐ and adding in a unique shelf is a great way to add some wall decor into your bathroom. And it’s super convenient because you can use it for storage as well. Especially if you have cute perfume or lotions, they would look so good in a shelf like this.
Tip: In small spaces, concealing storage as decor is a great way to add more storage space and make your bathroom look cuter.
When you’ve added wall art to a space and it still needs an extra little something, a unique shelf can do the trick. It’ll refresh your bathroom and give it a sense of newness that can be so nice.
5. This isn’t exactly wall decor, but get some funky knobs!
Funky knobs are one of the easiest ways to transform a space. They add an extra pop of color, and they’re small so you can go as bold as you want to without fear.

I love a colorful knob, but I ended up going with these for my own bathroom because I couldn’t stop thinking about them once I saw them. I know, it’s very dramatic to be thinking about knobs that much. But I was ๐
Tip: Few things will give a bathroom your own unique flare like funky knobs can.
When I was younger, I had this old desk in my room that wasn’t very exciting. My mom had the idea to get a bunch of different knobs for it (they were all different colors to create an eclectic, mismatched look). She took me to Anthropologie and let me pick them all out with her. One of them was even a turtle (that one was my favorite).
So I always have a great association with knobs because they turned a boring desk into a fun one, and I got to do it with my mom and be involved in the design process.
