This is an honest Brightland olive oil review. I have been wanting to try Brightland olive oil for a while now, and I finally bit the bullet and ordered a bottle online. And it was not cheap, so I was prepared to be extra critical once it arrived.
The minute I tasted this olive oil I was struck because it is even better than I had imagined. It’s so unique, flavorful, and delicious. Read on to see how I put this olive oil to the test (and for tips on what to get in your first order).

Initial taste test
First I need to show you the olive oil that I picked out. I wanted to get one that was super versatile because I knew I would want to be able to use it for salad dressing, bake with it, and experiment with it for this review. And I was so pleasantly surprised by how much flavor this olive oil had.
Get the Alive Olive Oil
There’s no question that I would buy the Alive again and again. It has such a vibrant taste and my mom commented on how high quality it tastes. This is not your average olive oil. It definitely tastes special, unique, and elevated.
When I initially tasted a little bit on its own to gauge what its flavor was, I was struck by how flavorful and tasty this olive oil was. And we usually buy pretty nice olive oil from the grocery store, but it was clear that this was a whole new level of flavor and freshness.
I wish that I had gotten the spout that they have for their olive oil bottles. Since I wasn’t sure how much I would like the olive oil, I didn’t want to get the spout if I was only going to get their olive oil one time. But now that I know how much my family and I love this olive oil, I definitely will be buying it again and I will definitely be getting this spout to go with it.

It makes it so much easier to drizzle and helps make sure that you’re not wasting any of your olive oil. I can’t wait until the next time I order from Brightland because I definitely will get this!
Using the olive oil in a simple salad dressing
Next, after the initial taste test, I had to try the Brightland olive oil as a simple salad dressing. After mixing it with balsamic vinegar and drizzling it over mixed greens with sliced peaches on top (one of my favorite simple salads right now) I took my first bite. And it was sooo yummy.
If you want an olive oil that makes a killer salad dressing, the Brightland Rosette olive oil is infused with garlic. I am so eager to test this one out.

This looks so delicious. The Lucid olive oil has a natural lemon flavor. I love lemon in my salad dressing, so I already know that I would be obsessed with this.

If you want some delicious (and super simple) homemade salad dressing, you need to try at least one of these olive oils because they’re THAT good.
This olive oil makes an amazing salad dressing. It’s so flavorful and you can tell how high quality it is. This is definitely an instance where you get what you pay for.
Baking gluten free focaccia with the olive oil
As much as baking this focaccia was a test to see how the olive oil holds up when you use it to bake, it was a test of my baking skills because I hadn’t ever made a gluten free focaccia anymore. I have a gluten intolerance so whenever I’m baking something that I want to eat, it has to be gluten free.
This focaccia turned out really well โ it was gone within a few days. We ate it up! I would definitely make it again, but next time I would include more add ins like olives, tomatoes, herbs, and even more flaky sea salt on top. I felt like this one was a little bit plain.
That being said, this olive oil made the focaccia because it had so much flavor. If I had made this recipe with another olive oil, it definitely would not have been as tasty. I think any of the Brightland olive oil flavors would make an amazing focaccia.
Final review
FIVE OUT OF FIVE STARS. Ten out of ten, whatever the scale is, this olive oil is a winner. It’s so delicious and tastes noticeably high quality and unique.
And you can’t help but love that these olive oils are made from California olives. If you’re a foodie, you will love these olive oils. I am already so excited for my next order from Brightland because I want to try everything. I wish that I had gotten this Mini Essentials set, because it has two mini olive oils to try plus their vinegars.

This set would make a great gift for someone no matter the occasion, whether that be a birthday, or as a housewarming gift. I even think it can be nice to bring a bottle of nice olive oil instead of a bottle of wine if you’re going to someone’s house for dinner.
There are so many great products to try โ you can shop on Brightland to see all of them. I was skeptical at first because I’ve never spent that much on olive oil before, but I’m so glad I took the leap and tried it because I was not disappointed in the slightest.
